The Maxwell Family members are 4th and 5th generation  Texans, whose family has been farming and making wine here for more than 100 years. Ken remembers as a boy picking the wild grapes that grew along his family's farms near Ft. Worth. His Great-grandfather, Grandfather, and Father taught him the family traditions of wine making. Ken has recently left the Semiconductor Industry, after twenty-five years to bring the Maxwell Family traditions of wine making to your home. Our Vineyards are located in Doss and Fredericksburg - the heart of the Texas Hill Country American Viticultural Area. Here our vines thrive
in the calcareous soils, seasonal rains, and sunshine to produce a rich complexity of flavors. Our Texas Winery is located ten miles east of Fredericksburg, TX
on US Hwy 290.
